Anesthesia

Anesthesia was one of the least addressed disciplines in the history of medical practice in Ethiopia. The College of Medicine and Health Science Department OF Anesthesia in Injibara University has been launched 2021 G.C, works to produce competent anesthesia professionals equipped with knowledge, high level of clinical skills in modern anesthesia and necessary attitudes. The department implements a four and half years BSc program and recruits its students according to Minster of Education higher institution eligibility criteria, and teaches the students through competency Based Curriculum. The department is currently Teaching 42 BSc anesthesia students.

Program Goal : To produce competent, compassionate, and committed anesthesia professionals  that will meet the present and future priority health needs of the Ethiopian population and fulfill international standards for Anesthesia education.
