Department of Forestry and Climate Sciences was established in 12010 E.C. under college of Agriculture, Food and Climate Sciences of Injibara University. The department had undertaken three term graduations. The department had composed of nine lecturers and tow technical assistances. Several demand driven and problem solving research projects were executed in the department. In addition, various community services works and technology transfer were implemented. From executed research outputs, several journals are published in Scopus indexed journals. The department had developed, reviewed three post graduated (M.Sc.) programs. Two scholarships at the abroad were wind by the department staffs. Currently several research projects and community engagement works are being undergoing in the department. Furthermore, the department is undertaking the teaching learning process with thirty students and two batches.
