Injibara University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Chagni Primary Hospital

Injibara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chagni Primary Hospital to collaborate on various initiatives.

The agreement focuses on areas where both institutions can work together, fostering cooperation in research, healthcare services, and academic training.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Kinde Birhane, Vice President for Research and Community Services at the university, highlighted that this agreement follows previous collaborations with Injibara General Hospital and the Amhara Regional Health Bureau. He emphasized the importance of partnering with nearby hospitals to provide hands-on training for health sciences students, complementing their theoretical education.

On behalf of Chagni Primary Hospital, Mr. Adane Gebeyehu, the hospital’s director, stated that the agreement would not only enhance healthcare services for the local community but also elevate the hospital’s standards.

The MoU was presented by Associate Professor Daniel Adane(Assistant Professor), Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. The agreement encompasses academic exchange, research collaborations, community service programs, support for medical supplies and equipment, and capacity-building training initiatives.

University executives, hospital officials, faculty members from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and other stakeholders attended the signing ceremony.
