Injibara University signs a historic MoU with US Universities.

Injibara University has signed a memorandum of understanding with two universities in Kentucky State, USA.

In line with Injibara University’s plan to create international partnerships to maintain the quality of education and research, enhance the capacity of teachers and researchers, and enhance its global profile, Injibara University’s President, Dr. Gardachew Worku and the Academic Vice President, Dr. Aemiro Tadesse signed a memorandum of understanding with Kentucky State University and the University of Kentucky in the United States.

This is the first time Injibara University has signed a memorandum of understanding with universities in the United States, and the agreement can be called historic.

The agreement has been signed by Kentucky State University’s President, Dr. Kofi Akakpa, Kentucky University College of Agriculture Dean, Prof. Surendranath Suman, and Injibara University’s President, Dr. Gardachew Worku. The agreement includes faculty and student exchange between the universities, joint research and research funding, joint conferences and workshops, and short and long-term training.

In addition, since Kentucky State is known for its horse racing worldwide, it was decided that there is a great opportunity to work together with the Agaw Horsemen’s Association to improve the horse breed.
